The Railway Inn

Alice is absolutely delightful, friendly and welcoming, Helen is efficient, friendly and nothing is too much trouble for her in making us feel comfortable and welcome. The Railway Inn, is firmly in our travel book for future visits. Everything is a reflection on how Alice has thought about people's comfort. The decor of the public areas, as well as in our room is ambient and inviting, this is the first place we have stayed in that actually had 2 chairs in the room, most places only supply one. The towels in the bathroom were so soft and my wife loved the little showergels and shampoo too. I appreciated the bed size, I.m not a small man and my wife and I have stayed in places in the past when the bed wasn't long enough - so thank you Alice for realising that not all men are only 5ft 10! Everything was perfect. Alice is an excellent chef, her breakfasts are divine, beautifully cooked and filling we didn't need any lunch! We will be going back :)
