Lots of character. The landscape of flowers, shrubs, etc was beautiful

Loud traffic noise next to the hotel during the day and evening

Location was central. Cleaning staff and restaurant staff were friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable but seemed smaller/shorter than the queen beds were are used to.

For over $300/night, I expected more. The manager behaved as if we were a major inconvenience. I found him to be rude and dismissive. His staff, on the other hand, were lovely and as accomodating as they could be. The office hours were extremely limited, email responses to inquiries were not timely and contained conflicting information to what we were communicated orally, and the reception was not open / staffed during the posted times so we had to bother the restaurant staff for assistance. There was no conditioner available in our room and not at reception. The room was very tiny with no air conditioning. The fan and traffic noise from the open window were loud. There was a designated space for a fridge but there was none available. There was also no coffee in the room and so there were lineups for the shared coffee station in the hall in the morning and it ran out of cream.though it did have decaf and regular pods available.
