Salt Spring Inn

Central location. Attractive historical building.

Very small room that just about held a queen bed and noisy with the restaurant and live music behind.

It is a lovely, cozy, cute place right at the heart of salt spring island. The location is great, the staffs are very nice, many good eating places around this place.

Everything is perfect

The breakfast was delicious though on our recent visit we discovered that they no longer serve breakfast during the week but have a few breakfast items on the menu...just fine with us! Lunch begins at 11:30 during the week and I believe breakfast is served on the weekend beginning at 9:30...definitely worthwhile!

We were warmly welcomed by a nice young man, we got an early check-in and the room was ready at arrival. We were kindly escorted by this nice woman who cleans the rooms. The room was nice, bright and clean. It is dated but well maintained. We got two large windows with lots of fresh air. Check-out was also a breeze.

The traffic is heavy on this part and starts early morning. That is not on the hotel's control. We slept well and didn't hear much during the night. With windows closed, you don't hear any from the street.

Location was great, bed was comfy

The room was so warm as there is no airflow other than the window. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work, shower water pressure was so hard it hurt. The fireplace in the room wouldn’t fully shut off which made the room even warmer. Rooms are tiny, not worth over $200/night

Was a wonderful central location, everything was clean and comfortable. The double blinds were greatly appreciated to ensure the window was completely covered.

Nothing I didn’t like, however if you are a lighter sleeper, you may want to ask to be in a room a bit farther away from the shared washrooms, as not everyone has a light touch when opening and closing the doors.
