Hotel Neue Post

We had dinner in the hotel's restaurant with a group of 12, and it was a lot more than just excellent work by the chef. It is always a nice surprise how a hospitable waitress (Lisi) can turn a fine dinner into a great experience. The salad bar even exceeds the high quality standard set by many 4 star hotels: there were 15 types of dressing oil and vinegar to try. The owner also showed up for a brief chat. Excellent quality for a fair price. Highly recommended!

Great hotel for relax and wellness holidays. Excellent and very friendly and helpful staff. Delicous cuisine, 5-course menu, mainly served at the table. Giant wellness-area with pool, different sauna, jacuzzi etc,

We have visited this hotel this summer for the second time on our way to Italy. This typical Austrian-style hotel offers all the facilities you can expect from a 4-star hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-equipped (we were agreably surprised by the newly furbished "deluxe" room) and the restaurant proposes a fine cuisine. The hotel is easily accessible (a new parking garage has been opened this year) and has an indoor swimming pool and welness. The only negative aspect is that the personnel only speaks very little. I recommend this place.

Very nice hotel with typical Austrian interior, nice rooms with lot's of space and storage cabinets, big terrace in the sun. They have 2 sauna areas: 1 naked & 1 with bathing suits and they have a pool. The acoustics at the pool are terrible when children are playing in the pool the noise is heavy. Dinner is fantastic and superb: 5 courses and for the main 3 choices. Breakfast could be better though: not so diversified so every morning You'll have to eat the same. A snack in the late afternoon after skiing and before dinner would be nice (we had that in another hotel in Tirol once). Friendly staff, escpecially Roland. The bed to sleep in are hard, to hard for me so sleeping was not so good for me. Also the rooms are hot even if You turn of the radiator it's still hot in the room. The hotel has parking in 2 areas: 1 in front of the hotel and 1 a few hundred meters further but they start building a parking underneath the hotel in summer 2016. You can only book here from saturday to saturday and that means that You're always in a trafficjam when You arrive and when You leave: lost 4 hours on arrival and 4 hours on departure on the road by trafficjams. When they would let people arrive on weekdays the traffic would be more structured.

Six of us spent one week here in March 2015 and had a great week, mostly due to our accommodation here at Neue Post. Upon arrival, we were impressed with the exterior of the hotel and its view on the valley. Our three rooms were all clean and good sizes (although we didn't have enough shampoo/conditioner so had to buy toiletries). The staff at breakfast and dinner are wonderful, always doing whatever they can to make your experience as smooth as possible. The 5 course dinners every evening were delicious and well presented. At breakfast, the staff went above and beyond to meet our requests. We enjoyed the spa facilities although at times, the swimming pool was a bit cold. We were not far from ski lifts and drove every day - it was very easy. A welcoming, clean, typically Austrian hotel - highly recommended.

We spent a week in January 2015 and enjoyed every single day of our stay at the Neue Post. The hotel is perfectly clean and well maintained, one can really feel the personal touch by the property owners. The reception staff was very helpful, we receieved a baby cot without any problems. Advised upon arrival at the reception desk we also ordered our ski passes there what saved us hassle. Special thanks to a lovely lady who took care about our tables at the restaurant - she was always kind, reliable and professional what was not always easy as we travelled as a larger group with lots of kids. Speaking of the restaurant: breakfast was always fresh and tasty, fine selection of food for every taste, but dinners were absolutely fabulous! Delicious regional cuisine made our every day. Swimming pool area as well as spa are spotless clean, relaxing and quiet. We do recommend - and cosider coming back :-)

Very nice stay, good fesh tasty food, international and local. Nice staff, kind and availble, smiling :) Clean rooms but old furniture. Little soap and personal hygene providings. Towels exceedingly changed, even if not left on the floor. Cleaning made even if specifically requested not to be done.... a waste in some senses. The spa is very clean and new, nice atmosphre. Also the food is nice and fresh and you can choose a lot of salads, vegetarians have very limitated choice at the main course.... the same 2 choises every evening. I did not like the coffee even if not a cheap one. The position is a little far away from the points of interest, but you have a bus station ( ski bus) right in front of the hotel, a pharmacy and some shops at only 3 minutes away. Train station to Mayrhofen etc. at 3 min also. A nice river side walk. Fresh air. Nice view. Prices are high for what is offered but overall I'd recomand Neue Post Hotel and I'd go back again.

The Ferienhotel is a family-run hotel with very friendly staff and an awesome view. Ask for a room with mountain view - the picturesque Hippach town just lies in front of you. I could easily spend a couple hours on the balcony with such a great view! There is also an indoor swimming pool (opens from 7 till 7) and it was a joy to go there for an early swim!
