La modernité des chambres. Hôtel situé en dehors au calme. Le personnel très à l'écoute et accueillant. Un buffet déjeuner très copieux et délicieux. Le repas du soir excellent, je recommande cet établissement

Love the location, the farm land, the sound of the cow bells, and we loved the staff. We fell in love with the property. The room was very nice with a wonderful sunset view.

Swimming pool is too cold (install solar water heater on the roof to heat the pool). Bath robes are missing and was told we have to "rent" them (silly to have to rent). The room is missing the basic Nesspresso coffee maker, and missing a little refrigerator in the room for our food. My wife and I live in Hotels FULL TIME. Other similar Hotels have the basic Nesspresso maching and little refrigerator. (cut some of the trees down that serve no purpose other than blocking the view)

We wanted to visit Liechtensteinklamm (the gorge) on our way back home from München to Budapest. It was a spontaneous decision so we were lucky to find accommodation at all one day before our arrival in Ober-alpendorf. Booking hotels in the Salzburger area means you get a Mobilitätsticket, which allows you to use public transport for free, even in the town Salzburg and we also got a Gästekarte with lots of discounts to the main places of interest. As for the hotel: it is about 2 km from the gorge. Walking uphill can be challenging, as it is located on a steep hill, so I would recommend taking your own car/renting a bike instead. Some members of the hotel staff speak English, 2 out of 5 people actually, but if you speak German a little, like us, everybody will be really helpful.

We were expecting some restful sleep but the beds weren't that comfortable.
