Location, food, staff, and value for money

No dedicated parking, but local roads nearby proved adequate proximate spaces

Great location, and we really enjoyed the experience of staying above a pub. Everything was clean, and the breakfast was very good.

In our room (room 6), it was impossible to switch off the radiator — the control was broken, so the room was very stuffy. We couldn’t open the window either because of the noise from the restaurant outside. We asked the staff for help, but they were unable to turn off the heating as well. We also had to share the toilet and shower with another room, and there was no lock or any indication that the toilet or shower was occupied. As a result, while one of us was using the shower, someone from the other room walked in. This was very uncomfortable and unacceptable. Please fix these issues!

Great location. We had a spacious room for three friend. Lovely bathroom with tea and coffee facilities. Very clean, friendly staff and a delicious breakfast

Brilliant friendly accommodating staff throughout our stay and an amazing breakfast, the whole team are naturally intuitive. No problem finding parking at all. They're undertaking a massive revamp, I'll definitely return after all the improvements -can only get better. Shower fantastic water pressure and never lost heat.

I had an older person with me, would have preferred a room not over the pub, but they do disclose this on all bookings. The naturally friendly atmosphere in the pub after returning from a long day touring was so welcome - only niggle, room keys are overly large??
