Very convenient location for walking the Cotswold way, or just enjoying the town Great breakfast.

Staff member who checked us in didn’t seem very knowledgeable (gave us some wrong information). As the bar is open till late it was noisy in our room until late, but after that it was fine.

We liked the location and the availability of parking and room was comfortable

We had booked an insitu bathroom but got a separate bathroom one room away. It was so painful to unlock and lock the door everytime one had to use the washroom

Staff were lovely. Nice meals, breakfast was lovely, great location

The setting and ambiance is what we hopped for! Excellent proximity to shops and the start of the Cotswolds Way. The breakfasts were good, and the restaurant's chicken tikka masala was delicious. For our hike, we stopped by the Fillet & Bone shop (opens at 09:00) for fresh food to take for lunch on the trail. There are, also, a couple additional shops in town where you can pick up food for the trail (Toke's Food & Drink and the Coop).

Our host also moved our luggage as we walked the Cotswold Way and we never had a problem. He also referred us to a sweet breakfast at Stephania’s Coffee around the corner when arrived quite early. Much appreciated.

Would suggest reserving rooms 1-3 which are toward the back of the hotel and might be noisy from diners but our room # 4 was over the kitchen, noisy, food odors, and loud dishwasher late at night.
