The location and the renovated old-house atmosphere are genuinely nice.

The owner sent a message on booking.com saying to meet at the coffee shop, but did not mention that the hostel's main door was locked or should not be used. As a first-time guest, I tried the iron door which seemed to be the main door, thinking it was really heavy, and pushed it little hard. Because it was locked, the panel flexed and made a loud sound. I wasn't knocking, banging or had any intentions of making that sound. The owner came out started shouting on my face and insulted me that I was rude and had no manners for making the sound, and also had ignored his instructions to meet him at the coffee shop. The instruction was just unclear. A simple sign on the door not to use it would prevent it. The hostel itself was great but I was really shocked and sad how I was welcomed.

因為比較晚到，衛浴間數有點少。 也建議宣導一下，浴廁使用完畢要整理乾淨給下一個人用（記得沖馬桶）。

Special hostel in an old Japanese style home. It's located in a quiet little maze of alleys. You can easily walk to the museum and some other attractions. The dorm has sleeping pods for more privacy. Complimentary tea and coffee are available. You can store your luggage before and after check out.

No bathroom on the same level as the dormitory.
