I think it needs a small fridge and a microwave as there are no restaurants or grocery stores nearby.

Nice, modern, functional interior. Big bathroom, great shower with a 'nature window' which made one feel like you were having a shower in the jungle.

A small fridge would have been nice.

we really liked it! nice room, beautiful bath room, easy accessible and quiet. you can hear the street a bit, but it’s not bad at all. at least for us it was perfect. we arrived by car.

lots of hooks and a wire to hang your wet swimsuits, free drinking water, coffee maker, free parking in front of the house, shower with a view, good water pressurw, hot and cold water in the shower, comfortable bed (a bit hard), good wifi, owner was nice and offerd us suggestions for tours and food. he has a cat and a dog on the premises (they try to enter your room if you leave the doors open).

no comforter/blankets on the bed (we were a bit cold at night), noise from cars at night, construction going on next to the room starting in early morning hours, you have to pay for the ac, no fridge in the room. the location - this didnt bother us as we had a car, but if you rely on public transport this might not be the best option for you (quite far from Bacalar).

We had a very enjoyable stay ! Everything is very clean and the staff is kind and attentive. For the location we had a car so everything we wanted to visit was within reach. Recommended 💯

Very clean place. The proprietor is very friendly and helps you out almost immediately if you have a question. Comfortable beds and great for non-American travellers is that you can charge your phone via USB.

The place is a little far out, so you really need a car (which we luckily had). The room is somewhat basic and pretty moist, so your towels (and clothes) don't dry quickly.

It is an absolutely amazing place near Bacalar. Perfect if you come with your own car, otherwise you have to take a taxi or walk (it's about 2-3km to the center of Bacalar). Rooms are very clean and beautiful, Cynthia (the renter) is very friendly. I extended my staying there because Bacalar is one of the best places in Yucatan (very calm, lot of nice bars and restaurants with a good vibe, not many tourists) and this accommodation was perfect.

The room has no aircondition, but it has smart ventilation, so it isn't hot inside. However, keep in mind that drying your clothes will be challenging due to high humidity, which wasn't a big problem for me.
