Inns who don't offer lactose/gluten free options for breakfast should not charge for breakfast! I contacted the inn before going and they said I could eat fruit! Although I love fruit I don't usually eat it as 'first thing in the morning'. It's not asking for that much... just bread and milk to go with a cup of tea!
