Wifi worked well in the room. Kitchen was included, not that I cooked anything.

Property is old. Location is not great. Good hike from the beach and main road.

The room is a basic one with a small kitchen, convenient if you want to prepare own meals. The staff is very friendly and helpful. In 2 min you are in a street plenty of food options

The fridge didn't work at all, so drinking cold water after a while was not possible. I just noticed my last day when getting the luggage ready, there is no electricity some hours in the mornings. Coming back in the night, better have battery in the mobile to use the torch, no lights in the street.

Central with a great coffee breakfast spot and great dinner restaurant (Garlic amd lemon) just up the road; close to everything but very quiet and peaceful. Pool was great and loved we had our own little porch with table and hammock

Our room was bottom back of the property and had a very strong mouldy smell - think just due to its location

Large room with a balcony and kitchen area for the option to cook. The room was clean, staff were friendly and the location was good in close proximity to the beach and restaurants.

It wasn’t always easy to find someone if you needed something, maybe a bell on reception might help. The road, as others have mentioned is rocky and dark at night but felt relatively safe.

There was a kitchen. We could prepare meals as the restaurants in the area were tourist traps and expensive for where we were. The room was very clean. They let us change for a different room. They fixed things when asked. I think they tried hard.. Very helpful when we needed transport to port.. In general they are a nice family business.

Lack of TV channels. CNN was so repetitive. They had subscribed to lots of cartoon channels so if you are a child then good. They didn't offer to empty bins in room or offer clean towels. I guess you have to ask. Getting drinking water was a problem. You go and get your kettle filled up and any empty bottles you've saved. We twice boiled tap water then added tincture of iodine. Water tasted awful and cloudy so I should have persisted and got proper drinking water from them. I was told it was an 11 minute walk to beach. Incorrect. Also when I googled mapped it looked like I could walk to the end of a nearby road and walk to beach in no time. After exhaustive looking on internet I realised not possible. At first I thought I could cut through a beachfront resort but there's a cliff. Had to walk into the town area away from beach then get a ride. Getting a clear idea of how things are is difficult and not entirely their fault. On the internet in general proper information on Bohol is like trying to squeeze water from a rock. A bit like this about other Philippine islands as well.

The room is spacious and well equipped. Having a kitchenette was very nice. While I did not cook, having plates and cutlery available allowed me to have breakfast in my room. The guesthouse is run by three sisters (the eldest is the owner) who do a great job of keeping the place spic and span. They are also friendly and very helpful. They helped organize an island tour for me. They live on the premises so they are always available. The aircon works well and is fairly quiet for a window airconditioner. Great location about a ten minute walk to the beach and a five minute walk to some nice cafes and restaurants.

The beginning of the approach road to the guesthouse (the first 50 meters or so) is a mess. Across the street from the guesthouse is some low income housing. This is not really a problem but is visually a bit of a shock when you see it for the first time. The pool is somewhat smaller than it looks in the photos. This is a family compound where they have built a few rooms to rent out, not really a hotel, so having the right expectations is important. Not fancy but everything works.

Wifi connected but did not work. One of our rooms smelled badly of cigarette smoke. Due to no spare rooms, the staff were unable to help. The mattresses and pillows were way too hard. Almost zero sleep. Price was too high for this quality of room. ₱1100/night quality in my opinion. Certainly not ₱1800/night quality. The room and bathroom were very clean however. The staff were friendly and helpful.
