Property is set amongst a beautiful garden and backdrop, really very pretty. Restaurant was also very pleasant, good dinner options and a decent, if limited, breakfast choice. Private lake house is very nice, but was 100% self service when we visited. Rooms were incredibly spacious, but...

Rooms were incredibly spacious, but felt empty, impersonal and furnished as though they were storing random furniture from the owners grandparents and friends. Balconies had stunning views, but were let down by old plastic furniture and weathered wood. It's a shame, because with a little effort, this could really be a fantastic guesthouse to stay in. Beach house is also quite a drive from the hotel.

Sehr gutes Frühstück. Wunderbarer Garten mit Fernblick und herrlicher Gemüsegarten. Wunderschöne Blumen. Bademöglichkeit - Tolle Lage mit Badehaus - von Sonnenschirmen, über Liegen, alles vorhanden

Luftqualität war leider rauchig, Balkontüre konnte nur kurzfristig geöffnet werden. Ursache unbekannt.

Tolle Lage, sehr gepflegte Gartenanlage. Das grosszügige Zimmer war etwas „spartanisch“ eingerichtet, jedoch absolut Ok. Tolle, riesige Dusche ! Das Frühstücksbuffet lies keine Wünsche offen.

This is a great hinterland hotel, very charming and well kept! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room decor is a bit old-fashioned and traditional, as seen on the photos, but it gives off a charming vibe. Hotel restaurant is beautiful and the breakfast we had was really good! The entire hotel area is peaceful, views of lush greenery and mountains are amazing and the outdoor hotel area is perfect for a relaxing experience. The location is great for exploring the trails and nearby walking paths and also close driving distance to grocery shop, lake, beach and Klagenfurt centre. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they have made our stay even more pleasant! We would love to stay here again.

It is a very well kept hotel, but I presume the building is originally old and the walls are thin with no soundproofing.
