Staff were so helpful, we were very tired and grateful for meals in our fridge on arrival. Lovely bath soak to relax muscles after Cradle Mountain walk.

Only stayed one night but our chalet was spacious and very comfortable. Anita went out of her way to make us welcome and comfortable. Timtams were a lovely treat. Chicken and sweet corn soup was delicious and a great way to end our day and visit to Cradle Mountain.

"Quiet bush setting"

Chalets are clean, neat, comfortable and compact. Beds and pillows are comfortable, bathroom had both a shower and a bath which was relaxing after a long walk. Great place to watch animals at night come out of bush. Could order food from cafe and it would be placed in your fridge, 30 minute drive to Cradle Mountain. Staff were very friendly, nice quiet bush setting with Wi-Fi.

The Gateway Chalets are in a great location not far from Cradle Mountain. We spent 3 days up there and drove to the mountain each day - and it didn't take too long. The rooms were simple and comfortable and had everything we needed.

It would have been good to have curtains / coverings on the front door to keep the room darker at night.
