We cannot rate this place high enough. My family spent a week here. We got to see every apartment, and the upgrades here are just beautiful. We were upgraded to a kitchen apartment, and I am so grateful for that gift, although our first room was absolutely beautiful and if I was travelling without little kids, it would be my perfect destination room. I love Modern art Deco, and the bathroom was huge. It's the perfect distance to anything you want to do. The local people were lovely, and some great local shopping or eateries. There is a good sushi place in the lobby. 10 minutes from the billabong zoo, 10 minutes from the Koala sanctuary, zip lining and tree nets, a few minutes from Timberland, or 10 to 15 minutes from Port Macquarie. The staff at The Star are 5☆. So lovely and brilliant at their job, helped us with anything and everything, even remaking our rooms, set up my children's toys to make them giggle every afternoon we returned back. Noone wanted to leave.

What we didn't like? Apart from leaving? I'm not a fan of the new online contact less way of being, this accomodation is set up in this format, but the owner, Terri met me personally and went through everything. An absolute legend. So I have no gripes about anything at all. It was the best holiday vacation spot ever. The kitchen had limited cooking utensils if you are a gourmet chef, but for the normal everyday person, it's perfect. Oven. 4 cook tops, microwave, big fridge and freezer, heaps of cupboard space, dishwasher, double sink, kettle, toaster, coffee machine.

Very spacious, all the necessary amenities and extremely clean.
