Herbert and his wife have a beautiful Sitio, we saw more wildlife here than the national park itself! Lovely and peaceful, great communication and directions too. The accommodation as good and comfortable, we hope we can come back!

The host was really nice and helpful. He recommended hikes and restaurants, and also helped us with the transportation during and after our stay. The place is really beautiful and calm.

The location is a little isolated without a car, but it seems best to have one to enjoy a stay in the area. The room was quite small, as expected, and the linen was itchy (I slept in my sleeping bag) however my partner did not have any problem. The bed was not really comfortable. The bike rental advertised by booking is only two bikes in pretty bad shape lent freely by the owner.

Herbert's place is a little piece of heaven! A few cottages in a big garden, surrounded by forest. Everything is peaceful, it's perfect for a couple of day retreat far from the crowd. The cottages are simple, clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is taken in the garden (loved the homemade bread!). I was travelling without a car, but Herbert's place is close enough to the park entrance to walk (2km, 30mn walk). Warm welcome from Herbert and his wife. Herbert speaks French and has a lot of tips on what to do in the area, and also on places to visit on the coast of Ceará. I'd definitely recommend this place <3
