Hotel Seven Star

Its difficult task to answer the questions about comfort of that hotel, if you know the realities in Bangladesh. From one side I appreciate the afford making owners to run hotel in Old Dhaka, from another side its still quite far a way from western standards. First thing the name is misleading, and I don't mean it about standard, but when I tell the rikshaw driver about hotel 7 star, he brings me to those new fancy (and expensive) hotels spreading around Dhaka, but not to the correct place. They simply doesnt know. Very few rikshaw drivers can read google maps... I really like the receptionist was calm, spoke english and is learning some japanese even, its great. Then I don't want to change impossible to change things like water pression in toilet flush (which is almost non existent...), or lack of warm water, but it would be nice the beds are with covers, and the room is more clean. It has a great location, and I wish all the best for the hotel for its future!

The location and no restrictions for outside food.

The 1st room they gave me was smelly, full of cockroaches and unclean i didnt even lay down and next after my seminar i came, they told they accidentally gave me a wrong room and shifted me to a bigger room which was also unclean, smelly but spacious . Bathroom was also not up to mark clean however they are pricing less so i could not expect much. However i will not choose this hotel again but you can choose if you can manage with a little cleanliness issue.

Safe for Money

My stay in Dakha lasted 4 days. At first, I booked my stay for the first two days. After talking to a very nice and very helpful receptionist (sorry, I won't repeat his name due to my lack of knowledge of Bengali) and looking at the room I extended my stay for two more days. The room had a private bathroom, smart TV and air conditioning. I wanted to thank you for your help and great conditions for an amazing stay in Dhaka. I can only encourage other travelers to visit this fascinating city of wonderful and open people. Ps. of course at the seven stars hotel🖐️
