Don't think there was anything to like about this hotel apart from the pretty building opposite the hotel!

This was the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. We were first given room 303, which smelled horrible and was extremely mouldy. When I opened the bathroom door I was shocked to see black mould everywhere – on the ceiling, walls, and even inside the shower cabin. It was clearly a serious health hazard. When we reported it and asked to move rooms, the staff’s response was strangely dismissive: “Did you touch anything in the room?” They moved us to another room on the ground floor, but it was still in very poor condition. Although there was slightly less mould and odour, the bed sheets looked like they hadn’t been washed for ages, with cigarette burns on the bed covers, dirty pillowcases, and white stains on the bedding, it was disgusting...The shower was slimy, the curtains in the room were stained, and the whole place felt very dirty and outdated. The hotel also asks for a €100 deposit, which is surprising considering the terrible state of the property. I genuinely don’t understand how this place has a 5/10 rating. The building smells unpleasant (at times like rotten cabbage) and even the stairs are uneven. In the morning staff came to inspect the room and even brought the used towels, trying to argue they were dirty and wet so we shouldn’t get our full deposit back. Absolutely shocking experience. Avoid this hotel if you care about your health and breathing. It urgently needs proper mould removal and major refurbishment. Not worth staying even for 5 euro per night! Shouldn't be even listed on booking, I saw abandoned hotels which were in better condition than this one! Had to sleep on my shirt because of how dirty the pillowcases were, if it wasn't late at night I'd try to find a different accommodation
