We were pleased with our stay at Ponderosa Inn. Our room was clean, quiet, spacious, comfortable, and attractively furnished, and the wifi worked well. We found the price to be okay, especially for the springtime in the vicinity of Escalante.

We had an issue obtaining access to our room, which was controlled by combination, but it was resolved quickly.

Great location friendly staff

It was quiet. I talked to a human when I called for questions. Great ice machine.

I am not sure if I didn’t like it, but it was different. It was a self check in. No staff visible. Just a small building with several rooms.

The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything you might need, including fridge, freezer, coffee machine, microwave, extra towels, pillows, and blankets. Everything was very clean. I booked two days in separate bookings and the staff helped out by allowing me to keep the same room.

The self-check in. There is no one at the property and it might be hard to communicate with the staff at times as they manage several places. My goal was to spend the day hiking without network until very late at night - this wouldn’t have been a problem otherwise. The staff was very helpful once I got in touch with them. Booking.com instead messed up my plans as they randomly decided to cancel my reservation after the staff already checked me in, and I had to change plans and place a new one.

I was not able to stay here because the property has no staff at the location and never sent me a room code to get in. After calling the number listed I had no response so I called Booking.com After over two hours of messing around with all of this I finally got a room at a different place. What a mess. Booking.com should not be supporting this property.

Everything could have been better. Never stayed the night due to property not giving me room access. What a mess.

Personne pour accueillir et impossible d'ouvrir le mail en pdf pour avoir le nom et code de la chambre , on s'est fait aider par d'autres touristes américains car appeler de notre téléphone aurait entraîné un gros sur coût sur notre facture

I was charged for a room, never sent instructions for how to check in, and neither Booking nor Ponderosa Inn think they should refund my money.

It was difficult to find

No one send the cod3 to open the door, I have to call and text multiple times to get the code
