Breakfast was great. Facility was very clean and staff were nice too.

We stayed in room #1, which was cute and clean. Liked the decor of the room, and it seems that the owner put a lot of thought into designing it.

The hotel was behind another hotel, and it took a while for us to find it.

Welcoming gifts (snacks) Coffee amenities. Toiletries. Self-checkin.

No sound insulation: you hear your neighbours.

Good location. Quiet, comfortable with excellent shower.

I had a unique situation where I left a personal item when I left. They contacted housekeeping and got it back to me. I'm not sure everyone would do that. It was really appreciated.

"Lil & Mountain" booked together = 2 separate rooms. Overall, comfortable rooms. Good location in town! A floorplan / room map would have been helpful when booking the reservation. We selected Lil & Mountain - which seemed as if it was a 2-room suite. Instead, it was 2 separate rooms - room 1, "Little Jo's Bunkhouse", and room 2, "Mountain Home" - that shared a wall, and the doors were down the hall from each other. If we had realized that, we would have booked the family suite. Once arriving, and viewing the building Floorplan on the wall, it all made sense. For 2 couples, not a problem. But with a 4-person family, we would have picked the other option. The Mountain Home room (#2) had darkening shades, but they were not hung very well to effectively block light coming in. And Little Jo's Bunkhouse (#1) did not have darkening blinds, despite having an east-facing window. Location was very good. Escalante Outfitters, just on the other corner of the same block, had amazing pizza. One of a few close food options. Easy self check-in/out process. Room codes for door locks are provided prior to arriving. Overall, fine stay when stopping through Escalante - especially if you understand what you're getting.
