Locanda Appennino

Straordinaria è un aggettivo non in grado di rendere appieno cosa rappresenti la Locanda Appennino. Ambienti perfetti. Camere in stile Decò raffinate, ampie ed estremamente pulite. Letti e cuscini comodissimi. Biancheria del bagno candida e morbida. Lo staff è accogliente, educato, preparato. Il ristorante offre piatti deliziosi che prevedono anche verdure dell'orto, tartufi e porcini deliziosi. La pizza ha un profumo antico di forno a legna dei nonni e ha un sapore unico e una consistenza leggera, pur richiamando quella napoletana. La colazione è ottima ed è la perfetta rappresentazione di cosa significhi non sprecare nulla, perché si sceglie il giorno prima cosa consumare l'indomani. Tutto freschissimo e hanno una cura nel servire che noi, che alloggiamo sia per svago che per lavoro in svariati hotel, non abbiamo mai trovato prima. Si trova a due passi dalla Cripta di Mussolini e appena due km dal centro di Predappio, facilmente raggiungibile attraverso una ben fatta pista ciclabile o pedonale. Quindi, la posizione è praticamente perfetta. Tanto più che dispongono di un ampio parcheggio e tutti i dintorni si possono visitare a piedi, beneficiando anche della splendida natura del luogo. Dire che lo consigliamo a chiunque è evidente.

Oh. My. Gosh! We took a detour on our trip to the Dolemite Mountains from Rome and had made reservations at this hotel. We knew nothing about it. It exceeded any and all expectations! The rooms (there are only 5) were new, spotless, and beautiful! The staff were exceptionally friendly. Jacob, the proprietor, speaks good English. This is a hotel review, but the restaurant...oh...the restaurant. Excellent menu. One of the best meals we have had in Italy. They have a wine cellar! You can go down, sit, and select from many, many bottles of wine. It was a wonderful evening for our entire family. Jacob gave us many tips on places to see in Predappio. If you are traveling from any points South in Italy towards Venice, then I highly suggest you make a stop in Predappio and stay at this hotel!

There are no complaints about the hotel and restaurant. Our only regret is that we did not schedule a full day to see Predappio! There is so much more to see than the historical birthplace and tomb of Benito Mussolini. There are vineyards, parks, and trails to visit. Unfortunately, we did not get to see them all. We are going to schedule another trip in the future to see everything, and will stay at this hotel. Yes, it is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the trip and time!

Excellent quality rooms with comfortable bedding and quality bathrooms. Breakfast was superb and the restaurant served fabulous dishes with seasonal and local ingredients. Excellent wines to match. The staff, including owner Jacopo were very welcoming and made our stay particularly enjoyable.
