Beautiful town, and the hotel's location was the key point for this reservation.

We booked a two-night stay through Booking.com and were already travelling from Sofia to Veliko Tarnovo when the hotel called to inform us that there was no hot water and no clear indication of when the problem would be fixed. The proposed alternatives were to move us to another hotel or to stay and use bathroom facilities elsewhere. In our view, neither option was equivalent to the accommodation we had booked, and the situation caused significant inconvenience after we were already on the road. What was most disappointing was that, despite being unable to provide normal accommodation conditions, the hotel refused our request for a free cancellation and still charged a cancellation fee. I cannot review the actual stay because we never checked in. I can only review how a problem caused by the hotel was handled. Резервирахме 2 нощувки чрез Booking.com и в деня на настаняването пътувахме от София към Велико Търново. Едва по време на пътуването получихме обаждане от хотела, че няма топла вода и няма яснота кога проблемът ще бъде отстранен. Предложените варианти бяха да бъдем преместени в друг хотел или да използваме баня в друг обект. За нас това не е равностойно на резервираната услуга и създаде сериозно неудобство, след като вече бяхме на път. Най-разочароващото беше, че въпреки невъзможността хотелът да осигури нормални условия за престой, искането ни за безплатно анулиране беше отказано и ни беше начислена такса за анулиране. Не мога да оценя самия хотел, защото не отседнахме в него. Мога обаче да оценя начина, по който беше решен проблем, възникнал изцяло по вина на хотела.
