Alvanley Arms, Cotebrook

The Alvanley is excellent, a historic building with great facitities, we enjoyed drinks in the garden and dinner with friends in the restaurant which was excelent. The team were veryfriendly and helful. We could not ask for more.

Beautiful location, food was amazing, room was clean and comfortable, great location for Oulton park.

Room wasnt ready until 5 oclock so we had to sit and wait despite check in says from 4pm, tv wasnt working so had to call someone about that, The room was very cold and even though the room had a radiator it wasnt on and we just had an oil filled plug in which didnt help much.

The lady that checked us in and served us our breakfast was amazing. She was so friendly and welcoming as was the two young ladies working the bar. Food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back.

Poor wifi signal

We had a shirehorse experience next to the Alvenley arms it were the best position to stay with being unable to drive.

There were nothing that we didn't like.

We had a great stay at this bed and breakfast. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, the food was lovely, and the beds were comfortable. Everything made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you for the hospitality, we would happily stay again!

The only small issue we had was with the WiFi, as it disconnected every time you closed your phone, so it was a bit of a pain having to reconnect each time.

Great location and lovely views from the beer garden. Excellent decor in the rooms. Friendly staff.

Didn't have the evening meal that I wanted, which limited my options as I'm vegan. However, the meal I ended up having was fine and the breakfast was lovely.

Breakfast was quite good. The breakfast bar was fairly unexciting. The scrambled eggs were very overcooked

i didn't realise that our room was practically on the A Road. Perhaps my own fault. One couldn't open a window as it was very noisey. The room was cold and took some time to heat up. I think if an hotel knows that a guest is arriving then the heating should be on to make it welcoming. We did ask to move but the only other room available was small and didn't have a bath

Great location for Oulton Park. Inclusive breakfast. Toiletries in the bathroom and a good drinks tray.
