New Inn - Dorchester

Everything was amazing, the food, hospitality, stay, room everything was amazing!!!

The food in the evenings was excellent. Staff on the whole were very friendly

We arrived at 3, not knowing that we shouldn't have arrived till 5. They refused to let us even sit inside, even though the weather was not very good. We felt this was not very welcoming.

Amazing homely experience, great WiFi for a small town that in my opinion really captures that old English town Inn experience while still being clean and efficient. Large English Breakfast included, social outdoor and indoor pub areas, with games and a pool table. A beautiful view with pheasants, and rabbits gallivanting in the fields outside. Gorgeous sunset. I am glad I could show my tourist friends an authentic yet clean stay at Dorchester. A quick drive from the Cider Museum, Shooting ranges and Durdle Door Beach. Toilet trees and towels are provided and truth be told enough space to feel comfortable, well insulated rooms, we went in the summer and they also leave air conditioning for each bed.

Got to watch out for the door frame in the room it can be a little low you might hit your head on it a few times.

The food was delicious. The position is idyllic. The staff really lovely Bed so comfortable, apart from bed for children, mattress was alittle uncomfortable due to springs

Could do with some touch up in areas. Our shower needed clean better , shower head had lots of limescale/dirt stopping water flow , once we cleaned flowed as should

The friendliness on our arrival at reception. I explained that we needed to get away very early in the morning and would have to skip breakfast. A packed continental breakfast was delivered to our room that evening. What a lovely gesture.
