Posada Paraiso

Of all of my travels - this may be my favorite stay. I was in the Deluxe Queen suite and the view was absolutely breathtaking. You wake up to a sunrise coming up over the mountains as you overlook the city. So much natural light and fresh air! The location also couldn’t have been more convenient—the city center was just a short 3 minute walk away. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I couldn’t recommend this place more and look forward to bringing friends to visit!

Read: I saw a note about the water temp. It gets HOT but takes about 2 minutes, so just be patient.

The walk up a steep hill and up narrow stairs led us to the most beautiful view we could ever have imagined. We were given coffee and sat on our little balcony in utter bliss. Hot water didn’t work, but we were only there one night so it was truly worth it.

Great view, comfy bed, they gave us extra blankets, and were very attentive.

It is well located near to all the important parts of the town. The views oc the mountain are spectacular.

Where do I start. 1. On arrival we were charged about 20% over the quoted price and we had to pay in cash. Apparently the small print tells you that there is tax to add to the "Total price" on the app. 2. It is a stretch of the imagination to describe this as a hotel. The rooms are advertised as suites but they are very simple rooms. The stairs are very dangerous and steep. There is nothing outside to tell you that you are in the right location. At best it is a slight improvement on a hostel. 3. It is very noisy. One of the disadvantages in its location is the noise throughout the night. 4. The sink had no hot water feed to the wash basin. The shower never got above lukewarm.

Love this place. Host is super kind and friendly. Excellent location. Room is cuter and cleaner than on the website. And most importantly, the view! Just WOW!

The view it’s fantastic! The owner was very helpful and Always available, Posada Paraíso it’s really centric, 5 minutes walk to the main market.
