Great host, unique stay, beautiful surroundings

I liked the privacy. The kitchen was great. The house was very cozy.. The gift shop was fantastic and very helpful.

The stereo system is of poor quality - too much static.

Sink in kitchen very awkward to use had to sit on stool to use . upstairs should not be used by seniors steep staircase handrails consisted of skis one side ski poles the other safety issue sink in vanity upstairs unusable only to wash hands unable to get head close enough to wash or clean teeth due to roof angle .

Furniture in the living old and falling apart and really needs to be changed.

Location for our trip to Barkerville. Wells is a lovely little place with good amenities. Dave and his wife were fantastic people. Had a few conversations with them, and it was like talking to family.

Furniture in the living room could use upgrading. Sitting in chairs or couch was too low and almost felt like cushions sank to the floor.
