This place is a Never again for me. The room was disgusting. The microwave was rusted to the point it was in useable. The tub was chipping a finish off it look like it hadn't been cleaned... Yuck! The comforters on the bed were stained... Looked like they had not been washed in years. Just 🤢🤢🤢

The bathroom could have used a little paint, but that did not change the comfort or cleanliness of the room, which were great.

The facilities were pretty outdated. There was a little damage in our room, like a hole in the bathroom wall. The breakfast was very limited.
USUSUSThe bed was comfortable, and the sheets appeared clean. Some of the towels were clean. The location is relatively close to Helen, the main tourist town.
The room had a strong urine-like odor, especially when the AC was on. The bathroom was poorly maintained: peeling paint on the tub floor, visible mold around tile corners, and black mold on the folded edges of the shower curtain. We were placed in a fully handicap-equipped room without being informed; the excessive grab bars made the bathroom difficult to navigate and caused me to bump into one during the night. The hair dryer was missing (only the wall mount was present). The mini fridge had a loose metal piece that fell off when opened. One night light did not work due to a burned-out bulb. A couple of towels did not appear properly washed. The front desk was consistently unattended; there was no phone in the room to call reception, and despite multiple attempts the next day, no staff was available. We were unable to change rooms or request a refund and had to stay a second night despite wanting to leave after the first. The included breakfast was very limited and served cold. For $176 per night, this felt extremely disappointing and not worth the cost. While close to Helen, walking there is challenging at night unless you are comfortable walking at least a mile in dark, poorly lit conditions.
