I arrived at the accommodation finding out that the room was a small, dark place with no ventilation whatsoever. There were 2 windows, one facing a corridor inside the building and the other one facing a small hall on which other side there was a bathroom. One of the windows was missing one of the glass stripes, therefore the room couldn't be fully secured and because I am travelling with a pet, this was not suitable as my cat would have escaped. Breakfast, which was one of the main reason why I picked this place, is only served between 8am and 9am. There is a sign inside the bedroom letting people know the breakfast times, highlighting the fact that they do NOT DO ANY EXCEPTIONS!!!!! The location, the whole BnB and the room especially, felt very depressing and overwhelmingly claustrophobic. Even though I was going to stay for one night only, I could not bare stay in there for longer than 10 minutes. I asked the lady for a refund, which she refused to give, saying that now that I entered the room with my cat, she had to clean everything once again. She eventually gave me back the cash I paid after lots of arguing, but she turned the WiFi off so that I couldn't even call a taxi, to get out of there and find an alternative accommodation. She threw me out of the door with my luggage and my cat, refusing to let me make a phone call or help me in any way. In fact, I could tell she was having a lot of pleasure causing me a lot of distress and letting me stranded in an unsafe neighborhood and during the Semana Santa. I would not recommend this place to a cockroach, it's dirty, dark, unfriendly and unwelcoming. I would not stay here even if they paid me. Pura Vida Mae!
