Beautiful setting. Very welcoming staff

Not warm enough in either the bedroom or the restaurant

We received a warm welcome, and we had a fast efficient check-in. Our room was beautiful. It was clean, fresh smelling and had a huge comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant area and our meal was served quickly, was really nice, and reasonably priced. After a great night's sleep, we had breakfast, which was served quickly and was excellent.

Clean, beautiful location, nice views over the countryside from bedroom window, breakfast was lovely, food on site fantastic. Bed was comfy, and bedding smelt fresh and like in a Lenor advert, absolutely great value.

Nothing, the bathroom was slightly tight but did me just fine for my stay.

Quiet location, roomy and comfortable bar/restaurant

The hotel was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The staff, including one of the owners, were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food at night and breakfast was great too. They even made my daughter bacon and egg sandwiches wrapped in foil because she didn't want to come down for breakfast! All in all, a good stay.

Friendly, excellent food, warm, comfortable. Splendid views.. Good location for visiting the northeast without the crowds.
