Meeldisid hubased majad, milles oli kõik perega puhkamiseks. Palaval suvepäeval oli kosutav ka majakeses olev kliima, mis oli ruumi juba meie saabumise hetkeks mõnusalt jahedaks teinud. Õues oli lastel ruumi liikuda ja ka mänguväljakut kasutada. Öösel oli ümbruskonnas vaikne ja rahulik. Õhtused ja öised jalutuskäigud Valaste joale ja mereäärde päikese loojangut või tõusu vaatama minemiseks supper lähedal.
