Cheap renovation to the bathroom meant no storage space, a woefully small basin and flaking paint in the shower. Why a games room would (compete with Fussball and Air hockey tables) would be out right above a family room is incomprehensible. On three occasions we had to go up and politely ask players to stop playing, after the curfew time. This should have been better managed by staff. Nowhere near enough storage for a family. What was there was broken and falling apart. The service was barely adequate. It was almost as if the staff acted as though they HAD to be there, rather than actually wanted to be. Vacant stares, no greeting on arriving at either the bar or breakfast buffet…which brings us to another disappointment. Whilst the fare was acceptable, the sandwich toaster was broken, the urn not boiling, full cream milk jug empty both mornings…the simple things that should be done, irrespective of price level.
AUOwners were lovely people, Common room was cosy as well as lively, magnificent views. Restaurant was nice. There is a sauna and spa but I didn’t use this time. Rooms have amazing view. Easy to ski to chairlift
There is nothing I didn’t like, but if walking with gear from ATS be prepared to navigate a lot of stairs and hills. Walk back to ATS is all downhill and easy. I did the hike up with a boot backpack, small suitcase and ski bag. So it can be done.
AUAUGreat location, the staff were super friendly and professional. Rooms were warm and comfortable. Good space for gear and personal items too!

Not enough facilities No table and proper chairs in the room The wall is too thin so we can’t talk or laugh too loud and we have to be really quiet after 10 pm. We cannot really enjoy our stay that much as it’s too strict. The door was hard to lock and can’t be locked from inside the room. The sliding door of the bathroom can not be locked.
AUAUThe owners have planned upgrades during the off season that will make this lodge excellent in the coming years. They are friendly an hands on. The in house eatery was good value for money with good portion sized meal.
No major dislikes. Some of the fellow guests were disrespectful and noisy going to their rooms after 10pm a couple of nights even though the Management have signage asking guests to keep noise to minimum , so you can't blame disturbances on the Managemwnt.
