Was clean good to be able to walk down stairs to have a good meal for dinner and breakfast

Assuming where you’re room is positioned could hear a generator cut in and out

Very small for the money

The scent you use for the corridors is nice! The location is good too.

The tap in the bathroom was running constantly couldn't turn it off. Very annoying when trying to sleep. I know that it was a long weekend and hard to fix but it was happening no doubt before we got into the room. Other than that it was ok.

The George hotel has a great location. Right in the centre of town, walking distance to all the shops, and only a 5 minute drive to the track. The room is very basic. A bed, a tiny bar fridge, a kettle and a portable air conditioner. The bed was super comfortable.

There was no chair, lounge, desk or wardrobe in the room, so all your belongings end up staying on the floor. They did not have a house keeping service. I stayed 4 nights, and never got fresh towels or the bin emptied. Also, as the portable AC has big pipes that vent to the window, the blinds don’t close properly, so the outside lights keep the room well lit at night. And the noise from the bats in the park across the road is quite loud. The room also needs a good clean.
