The Coach House Skipton

Brilliant room that is full of character and feels more like an apartment than a hotel room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, close to town square and castle.

Parking is a bit frustrating, spaces are allocated to your room and are across the road behind another hotel but I got blocked in and staff had to track the car owner down and then when I returned someone else had parked in the space. To avoid disappointment I would assume that parking isn’t included with the room.

Location, cleanliness

The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows very hard. Didn’t sleep at all.

Convenience and able to get lovely Cool breeze through the room on a very hot day

Feltt the. Little touches were a little skimpy … toiletries smallest bottle ever and thin towels

Staff amazing and super helpful, welcoming and accommodating. Makes huge difference when tired after travelling. Room clean and furnishings all homely and nice

Beds are soft and mattresses could be firmer they feel old. the room i had - 9 think, chair looks nice, but not comfortable for meetings and I had a long call to make from the desk... for the price, I would expect Iron's in each of the rooms would be ideal. Not sure if anything simple can be done to minimise noise from the church bells. windows don't seem to shut brilliantly, so that could be a factor too....

Excellent room. Comfortable bed and clean

Didn’t really feel like an Inn. No real atmosphere.

The location is ideal if you want to explore the town/castle, plenty of choices to eat as well

Car park and breakfast facilities were not on site (but very close) and the lovely Westminster chimes rang ALL night (not the hotels fault though)
