The property is well positioned to catch public transport

Very little hot water, as a couple staying only one of us cold have a hot shower as the hot water kept running out and if you plugged the iron in the power points on one side of the unit would trip, we had to be aware of what we had plugged in phone chargers etc.

The apartment was fully equipped. Everything was in place. Everything working.

The traffic noise on the Pacific Highway was horrendous. We could not sleep with a window open. We had stayed there before but that time we were facing the side street and the building blocked some of the noise. We didn't realise how bad it was at the front of the building. Every time an ambulance entered the Highway (from the ambulance station near by), from a side street they turned th siren on and we would wake with a fright. Some days multiple times in an hour. The bed needs replacing. The side walls of the mattress hang over the base so the sides would slant down off the bed and we spend a lot of time trying to move to the middle of the bed so we did not roll out. I know it was not serviced but we were there for 13 nights and the sheets were never changed. No spares in the apartment. I expect we could have asked but with what we paid we did not feel we should be washing or changing sheets. There were 2 sets of towels for 3 weeks. The managers were friendly and ran the place well although we were a little scared of them. There seemed to be lots of rules. The sofa bed in the lounge to watch TV was awful. It had also collapsed which made it hard to get out of. There was a metal ridge under your knees with the seat part under your bottom many centimetres sunken below. We would stay their again but only if we could get accomodation facing the side road or the back of the building. There is a huge amount of upgrading that needs to be done in the bathroom, sliding door tracks and screens, on the terraced garden and general maintenance. It was good that I had a can of WD40 with me. Last but not least the shower was terrible with so little water you had to move around to rince the soap off. The best thing was the hot water. That has not been upgraded to the luke warm stuff in modern houses.

Beds are not good. The spring is horribly worn. My back was sore after just 1 night sleep

Noise from hospital ambulance sirens…can’t do much about that!

Very roomy and nice and clean. It was very comfortable stay.

The location of this place is very good, public transport is within walking distance, Westfield Hornsby is not far away either. We have stayed here a few times. The staff are amazing, very helpful and go out of their way to accommodate your needs. The property has a lift. The beds are very comfy, though we booked a King room and got a Queen bed this time. The kitchen in the little apartment was equipped with everything you need.

Parking in the underground carpark is always a bit of an issue, as it is a first come/first serve basis. Street parking is available, but very limited.

I will definitely return
