The room had a terrible smell, like an animal had been there, probably why the owner left the window open. But the worse is that the mattress by the window is completely worn out; you could feel the springs digging into your back. I barely slept and woke up with back pain. It’s unbelievable that such an essential thing as a decent mattress is neglected. We book a room to sleep, not to look at fancy decor. Totally unacceptable!
