Hotel Arriate

The location of the hotel was good, with the train station nearby and only about 25 minutes to Ghent. It’s also around a 15-minute walk to the city center, which was convenient. I also appreciated the contactless service throughout the stay, and the Goki system was helpful for opening and closing the doors.

The room and bathroom were far too small for two people. The layout felt very cramped, with barely any space to place luggage comfortably. The shower door was also not functional, which made using the bathroom inconvenient. Another issue was the lack of a proper main bathroom door, offering very little privacy. The photos online made the room look much more spacious than it actually was, so the overall experience was quite disappointing. For €110 per night, I honestly expected a much better and more comfortable stay.
