Les patrons et le personnel étaient gentils et disponibles. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et la vue de la terrasse de l'hôtel est splendide.

La prise de la salle de bain sort du mur. Il faut ouvrir les fenêtres afin de ne pas avoir trop chaud, mais de cette façon on entend beaucoup de bruit pendant la nuit notamment à cause des autres clients de l'hôtel qui se lève à 5h pour contempler le spectacle des ballons et qui ne sont pas très discrets. Il faut donc souvent choisir entre la fraîcheur et le silence.

Le personnel a ete incroyable avec nous. C'était un vrai soulagement de trouver des personnes parlant français et ils nous ont aidé a organiser le reste de notre séjour, en particulier le vol en montgolfière. L'hôtel est aussi très bien situé, a l'aube on peut voir les ballons s'envoler depuis la terrasse et faire de magnifiques photos.

Everything was just perfect. The options for breakfast were rich and delicious. The hospitality of Ayse and the staff was very nice. There is also a nice panoramic view on the terrace which I highly recommend :)

Beautiful family owned hotel - very kind and accomodating. Provided us with many recommendations and helped us book activities. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, fresh food and even better view to watch the hot air balloons. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay!

If you’re looking for a quieter and more authentic alternative to Göreme, I highly recommend staying in Uçhisar—and especially at La Maison de Sisik. The hotel is located close to the castle and has incredible panoramic views from the terrace. Watching the hot air balloons in the early morning was magical. You can also see Pigeon Valley, Red Valley, White Valley, Love Valley, and Göreme from there—all easy to reach. The breakfast was varied and delicious, beautifully presented with options for every taste. The room was nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and a great shower. Everything I needed was there. Ayşe, the host, was always available, friendly, and helpful with tips and local advice. The staff were also lovely—always smiling and welcoming. I truly had a fantastic experience and felt right at home. Would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

Great hosts showed an unmost attention towards me. I had no requests but they were ready to help anyway! It was a great time staying there. Food was good, room was clean, check-in&check-out were fast and easy. The place looks amazing, the views from hotel's properties cannot be decribed in words. It is overall a wonderful cozy place, I would recommend it to every friend coming to Cappadocia

Some things I encountered were not significant to me but could be important to someone else. For example, some sockets were jumping out of the wall. Also there were holes in the tiles of shower area, probably left there after remodelling. Not a problem but an important notice for any future guests: the room was very small, pretty much it only fit the bed.

Where to start? Everything went very well. From the check in to check out, the host was always there for help. The breakfast was really good. You can watch the balloons and the city from their terrace.

La maison de Şişik is a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is tastefully decorated, while honoring local traditions and atmospheres. The view from the terrace is splendid. Breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. We are particularly grateful to Ayşe for her kindness and generosity. Thanks to her, we were able to go on a horseback ride without worrying about the organization, discover the Rose Valley benefiting from her knowledge and explanations, and have long discussions about the local way of life, the differences with France, and our respective customs! Her impressive level of French must also be praised! Take the time to explore the collection of decorative objects carefully sourced by Şişik himself, to stroll on the terrace at sunrise or late in the afternoon, and to chat with Ayşe and Şişik to learn more about local life and the adventures surrounding this house. If you are lucky, you may even experience the traditional dinner organized by Ayşe with the help of her family. We highly recommend taking part! If you are looking for an experience close to the locals and the traditions of the region, La maison de Şişik is the perfect place. This place is truly a hidden gem in the charming city of Uchisar. The owner made us feel immediately at home and went over and beyond to meet our wishes. She organised a home cooked dinner which was the best food we had during our stay. Best part is to wake up with a view over the valley and have breakfast on the terrace on a traditional lounge set.
