The experience at La maison de Şişik was wonderful! We experienced a truly traditional experience, exactly what we wanted. The accommodation is located in a very good place, the view takes your breath away and the employees are extremely friendly and do their best to make you feel good. The owner also helped us choose a hot air balloon trip that went perfectly! The breakfast was also very tasty and varied. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation!

The hotel is at perfect location next to castle, the staff Lady was so so nice she was awake for us 2:00 am and helping us finding the hotel- very supportive she also planned detailed daily itinerary for us, breakfast was also very nice. Very beautiful hotel and terrace would definitely come again and recommend it.

The rooms were bit small, and washroom did not have door or curtain , sometimes it smelled due to no ventilation.

The atmoshere like you came to your friends house. Cosy and calm!

Very nice helpful kind stuff. Nice tasty breakfast with fresh breads and home made things. We stayed for new year night. Hotel had some party ( we didn’t attend, but I’m sure it was nice ). Very beautiful view from the rooftop. Cute cat family around. Easy access to Castle , which is open since 7 am, so you can see sunrise from there. But to be honest, rooftop is enough as a view. 10 minutes walking and you are at the entrance of pigeon Valley, which has nice road to Göreme. Nice view of Kapadokya.

Room need some maintenance (walls, bed side lights..) In the evening water was not that hot, if to compare with Göreme hotels for example

The ambiance was beautiful. The cave was preserved well while adding a modern touch that was homogeneous with the old cave. The owners were kind and helpful. It is not a commercial place but more of a local authentic place. The breakfast was delicious. Rooms and hotel is very clean. Also located near to Uchisar castle with a beautiful view.

There was a problem with heating and hot water at first but the owners fixed it later.

The hotel make me feel like being home. The hosting family is very friendly and helpful. The owner design the hotel by himself, every room and every corner of the hotel is unique. It is a cozy place to be if you want to slow down In Cappadocia.

This family-run pension is wonderful! The property is charming and well-situated for exploring beautiful Cappadocia- close to everything but not surrounded by crowds. The included breakfasts are very plentiful and tasty, as are the optional dinners. Mehmet and everyone in his family, including daughter/manager Ayse, went above and beyond make our stay enjoyable and comfortable- from taking us on guided hikes to welcoming us into their kitchen for a dinner cooking demonstration. They are a warm and multi-lingual family with deep roots in the region who will welcome you to their corner of Turkey with open arms and share with you its many delights. I would not hesitate to return and recommend it to family and friends!
