Washington Street Quarters

This spacious studio was a great, unique place to stay and explore downtown Lewisburg as everything was in walking distance — great restaurants nearby and shops! The studio had everything we needed and was cozy. We regret we only stayed a night — we should have booked to come back at the end of our 3-day ride up and down the Greenbriar River Trail. It was very quiet — could not hear noise from any of the other apartments.

The location is the very best feature of Washington Street Quarters. Within walking distance of the charming town of Lewisburg. Really lovely! We booked the studio at the back of the house. It was nice, spacious and contained everything we needed for our one night stay (wine glasses!). So no complaints.

A small remark that bothered me a bit. We received a few very helpfull messages from Pamela and her team, automatically sent through Booking I'm sure, but also with the question to let them know when we had arrived and when we had left. So naturally I sent these messages accordingly. But to my surprise I received no response to either of the two I sent. No "thank you" or "hopefully you enjoy/enjoyed your stay". Just the automated response a few days later. I happen to know, working in hospitality (and therefore with Booking), how easy it is to send a reply. A small gesture goes a long way I've noticed being in the same line of work.. But it is a minor thing, nothing to get worked up about :-)

Beautiful place and very convenient!

There is an excellent restaurant next door and lots of shops nearby. Very nicely furnished.

Place was a perfect set up for us! We were celebrating 43 years of marriage & enjoyed a walk around town & nice dinner.

Our suite surpassed our expectations. We were not expecting it to be so large! The furniture is very comfortable - as is the mattress! Very well decorated and inviting. Bathroom are beautiful. Instructions for unlocking the doors were emailed to me and easy to understand. This will be our go to place to stay . We had dinner at The Livery which is right next door and thought the food was delicious!
