Olymp Hotel

The room was very clean.

The restaurant wasn't working on Sunday, and they didn't inform us. On Sunday, there was an issue with the water supply. This is a sports hotel and there are a lot of teenagers that make noisy parties (pop folk) in the rooms till 4 AM.

Location is fantastic, although that's more down to the natural beauty of teteven rather than anything the hotel can take credit for. Good value for money provided your expectations are low regarding quality of hotel and you just want somewhere to sleep in a wonderful part of Bulgaria. Otherwise avoid.

Where do I start...Poorly run, unenthusiastic staff, low quality breakfast, worst coffee I've had in Bulgaria, tired decor. 2 star at best. Appears to be run solely for the benefit of visiting athletes, I get the impression the football and wrestling teams pay the bills so the hotel management are happy to let things tick over without concern of providing a quality service for other visitors. Over the years I've stayed in all the hotels in teteven, this is the only one I wouldn't return to.

It’s the best in the city, very big gym and pool. Close to the city centre and the waterfalls near by. It’s good for 1 night stay or if you are into gym or just sports in general. Standard breakfast.

The room was very basic and there was a strange smell in the bathroom. The bathroom door didn’t not shut properly. There is no air conditioning, it’s okay in the evening/ night time but during the day the room does get hot. The person that checked us in was not the most welcoming, however the women the next day was super friendly.
