Canterbury Suites B&B

Beautiful suite and great location.

We had a great stay, Martha and Tim were great hosts. Bed was super comfy and great pillows. Beautiful decor and our own balcony to enjoy. We were able to walk to the harbour and explore Bar Harbour shops and restaurants on foot. Would highly recommend:)

The location of the B&B is perfect. It's in walking distance to shops and restaurants and a short drive to Acadia. Martha and Tim are great hosts and their pups are lovely. The space is absolutely beautiful and clean. We truly enjoyed our stay. Martha made an amazing breakfast.

I only wish we would have booked a longer stay!

Everything was brand new, unlike other properties that are dated and aged. Beautiful, peaceful decor with all the extras like hand lotion, Aveda shampoo, candy, nice linens, and a wonderful breakfast of baked spiced peaches and cream and breakfast tacos. Owners were helpful with directions and dining recommendations! Great parking right at the door instead of on the street somewhere.

Beautiful newer property, perfectly designed and outfitted for a comfortable stay. Spacious private studio with individual climate control, modern bathroom with oversize shower & vanity, a generous closet, seating area, desk, balcony, & quality furnishings. Lovely indoor & outdoor shared lounge areas, convenient extras like fridge, microwave, books & games. Great location & pretty landscaped setting in a nice neighborhood close to restaurants, shops, waterfront & parks. Easy guest parking. Martha is a wonderful host! She provided thoughtful hospitality, visitor information, & a delicious freshly prepared gourmet breakfast. The accommodations are super-clean, large, quiet, and well equipped for a relaxing stay for two. We also appreciated being able to bring our dog.

Just wish we had planned for a longer visit at Canterbury Suites. We love Bar Harbor, but this time it was only one day stay between an extended trip through the Canadian Maritimes & flying out of Bangor. We travel frequently and this was honestly one of the nicest places we've stayed!

The location of Canterbury can’t be beat - close to downtown and walkable to most everything. Also such a huge plus being able to park on site and not deal with downtown parking. This place is newly renovated by the owners who did a beautiful job with everything. The kitchen and living space is beautifully decorated with bright pops of color and the bedrooms and a suite bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. Homemade breakfasts were delicious and the hosts knowledgeable about the area.

The bathroom could use a towel holder for a hand towel close to the sink for drying hands after washing.

The place was beautiful and Jim made everything feel like home!
