The breakfast was great, the staff were stellar ...friendly, helpful, nice the lobby was beautiful and lobby furniture beautiful

It was a bit old and worn... The whole hotel could take advantage of its once magnificent and stately ambience and be made a retro boutique hotel but instead it just felt run down and neglected and spooky... There were constant odd noises like a haunted castle and the balconies were unsafe. This magnificent old post war architecture building is a stunning example of an important time period in bulgarian history and could be made to shine but instead it is falling into disrepair and turning gloomy.
