Eco Hotel Imenieto

Amazing garden, quiet, birds chirping, plenty of activities in the place and in the area. In the beginning of May the pool was not open which we understand, so with the pool in the summer it will be ever better!

The pool and the garden were absolutely amazing. You get the feeling that you are in a 'secret garden', the pool is perfect size when not too many guests are around, has nice tasteful tiles on the sides, and is very clean. All in all, we felt like we were at our own place. The food that was served was very tasty (despite the relatively poor organisation for breakfast on some days). The AC worked very well and there were two bathrooms in an apartment for 4, which is very handy with kids. I loved that they had separate space with covered tables (in case of rain) in the garden for games!

The service. We were asked to pay in full as soon as we arrived on a hot day with a full restaurant, while we had neither been greeted (say with cold water) or shown the room .. straight to the payment, which left a bad taste. The rooms had great AC and 2 bathrooms, however, the beds were not comfortable, the bathrooms are very outdated and with distasteful tiles (like the pool), windows were with office-style blinds, half of which were broken, and the beautiful balconies were shared with the next-door guests, lights were on all night and could not be properly blocked off by the blinds... so, all in all wonderful garden, pool and tasty food, but work is needed on the facilities and guest reception. Also, while Bulgarian people find a breakfast with feta, kashkaval and tomatoes great, many Western tourists do not like our style cheeses, and pancakes or French toast were for example available but to be paid extra... so this was also a bit on the strange side.

Great green oasis with refreshing pool. Iwan, his daughter, all the other family members (including the cats) made us feel right at home putting a lot of love and attention in their family business. The fresh air, the great food, the silence, the simpleness of things and the lack of any metropolitan distraction really did it for us.

If anything: the rooms are a bit outdated, especially the bathrooms. Since we were outdoors all the time we couldn’t be bothered much.
