Frankenstube-Winkelhaid

This is an ideal hotel for stopping over on the way through. It is very clean and perfectly comfortable. The area is very quiet, although there is a supermarket nearby and a couple of restaurants. The owner was helpful and seems happy to leave guests to their own devices.

The restaurant and bar is only open between 3pm and 7:30pm. With check-in being at 12 and check-out at 10, there is clearly an early crowd of some sort being catered too. The maid tried my door around 8:30am, which was a bit unnecessary with an early check-out time.

Manager was really nice and gentle and welcoming. The room was clean and tidy, the bed was good. Parking is right next to the entrance. Breakfast was excellent, I couldn't manage to eat everything and I really wanted as it was so tasty. I should admit that there were no questions or additional fees for my pets: a little dog (Pomeranian Spitz), a cat and my guinea pig

I've left the window a little bit open for the night and then the mosquitos have arrived and bothered me some time during the sleep. Also the next-room guest was a bit too loud slamming his toilet seat or his bathroom doors, the noise passed easily through thin walls, but with the earplugs I was able to cancel that.

Quiet, clean and great blinds. So many owls.

Been there twice — absolutely amazing place to stay if you travel solo somewhere around the land. Good early breakfast. Not far from the autobahn. Clean, friendly, nice. If you speak Spanish — it is the proper place to do it.
