Jack Family Hotel

Friendly staff, clean rooms, good dinner

When we were there there were several large groups and families with children, the rooms are small and not well isolated so we were hearing everyone around us. You can't go into the forest and it's not that beautiful. Breakfast was very basic.

Very beautiful place

No slippers, no soap, no shampoo, no refrigerator, no hair dryer available in the rooms. No electric kettle available at all. I needed it to make hot water for kid. Breakfast is a sandwich only.

Super nice view, location is amidst the mountains, near Trakia University. Nice staff. Warm rooms.

It was featured by Booking as a hotel good for business travel, but I do not 100 % agree with this. For a family travel, though it is perfect.

Breakfast was typical Bulgarian. However they accommodated my milk allergy very well

The evening meal was very slap dash. Some of our party didn’t get food until after others had finished their meal.

This was not our first visit to the Jack Family Hotel, as the location is very convenient for us while travelling across Bulgaria to the Black Sea coast. It is in a quiet location on the outskirts of Stara Zagora, and the rooms are clean. We stayed in the newer cabin-type rooms in the back, which are compact but adequate, with a big Samsung TV. The hotel also has two high-class clay tennis courts which other guests were using.

In our cabin room, we could hear the people upstairs, although it wasn't too bad. The breakfast is very simple, a choice of toasted cheese on bread, or an egg with bread, tomato, ham, butter and jam. Coffee, tea or hot chocolate is self-serve from a machine. Okay, but not great.

Very comfortable and quiet hotel within short walk from Trakia University. Located outside of town, but with decent bus connections. The hotel provides good size rooms with comfortable beds and even has a tennis court.
