Pleasant stay, helpful owners. Rich breakfast. Tasty dinners. New Year's Eve evening enhanced by grilled baguettes with salmon, mulled wine and meat fondue.

The hotel is in a close proximity to the Lachtal ski centre and easily reachable by car. The hotel itself is nice, room was spacious and the bed comfortable. We also liked the fact that the toilet was separate from the bathroom and both had windows. We opted in for half board meaning that dinners were also included. The cuisine was traditional Austrian and portions were very generous. We were very happy with the food. Breakfast was the same every day, with a good selection of food (but could be improved, perhaps some variety could be added). The hotel also has a small spa area in the basement which is great after a long day of skiing. We mostly had it to ourselves as the hotel wasn't busy during our stay. The spa has a jacuzzi, Finnish hot sauna and infra-red sauna cabin. Overall, we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at Gasthof zum Mohrn.

If you don't speak German, you might have some communication difficulties with the staff. We only spoke English and had some issues understanding (also the restaurant menus are only in German).

Friendly atmosphere, excellent and clean room. Delicious dinner and breakfast.
