Bed was comfortable

Music from downstairs travelled loudly into the rooms. Floors were very creaky. Very noisy with all rooms full. Only 1 toilet for the whole floor. No fridge in the room.

Staff, cleanliness was exceptional, food and car parking

Size of the room no en-suite.

I just ❤️ this old hotel. It is one of my favourite places in the world. I recovered from a lack of sleep over previous days, sleeping 11 hours almost straight in my fantastic room. Thank you. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Listening to Friday night’s band, who were great by the way, in the freezing cold, was a serious bummer. I’m sure the limited number of audience members was due to this too!! The poor 4 band members were almost hypothermic!! How stupid when the inside venue would have been perfect, warm and this band could have been off the charts, who knows? Instead it was a feat of pure physical endurance against the cold. 😳 I only stayed for one song and didn’t purchase a drink on principle. Disappointing and a definite negative mark against the Pub’s Management. ❌

Great location, situated in the middle of the town, has a bar/restaurant on the ground floor. Staff were nice and polite. Food and drinks available until 8pm. Very clean shared facilities, smart tv in room with access to internet for streaming/youtube.

Weekends can be busy and having a bar below can be understandably noisy. Also, cars and trucks passing by late at night can be nuisance. Not ideal for family with small kids. We found bottles of soda under the bed. Smell of old carpet throughout the hallway.

Really clean bathroom. Decent room size. Good music. I'll book again !

When I got there I was told my payment hadn't been accepted, so I paid again. After getting home, I checked and found I had been fooled into paying twice. Not happy.

It was not clear that it was a shared facility (toilet and pantry) when we made the booking. We met other customers who were also confused about the shared facilities
