This hotel is definitely not worth 8.6 and maybe reviews are written by family or friends of the owners etc. Some of the reviews: 1. The place is charming and decorated beautifully. The owner is friendly and welcoming. Great place. 2. Comfortable bed, gorgeous room, clean and tastefully decorated. 3. Good and clean. Great service of the hotel staff. The breakfast is very good. 4. Location very good for centre of town. Clean and had balcony.. Comfortable bed and large room Budget hotel with on site restaurant. Check in was conducted by an elderly gentleman and took 15 minutes per person. He wrote all details with a pencil in to a small notebook (no computer), he was the second most miserable person in the hotel. This man informed us there was no restaurant however, he said, breakfast was available from 8am to 10am. he building is not charming it is old and very sparsely decorated. 2. We agree the bed was comfortable, however the room was very basic and certainly not tastefully decorated. Also the walls are thin and you can hear neighbours quite clearly. We booked 2 rooms, the second room had a large crack in the wall as if the building was falling apart. More importantly the electric light switch was cracked and therefore dangerous. 3. We did not receive great service from the staff. We only saw 2 staff, one at the check in and then in the morning we met the the first most miserable person, a lady, when we asked for breakfast. This lady was extremly rude and informed us in no uncertain terms the hotel did not supply breakfast and to contact Booking.com and blame them for saying there is breakfast, naturally we did contact Booking.com. 4. There is no restaurant and the most unpleasant staff you could wish to meet. YOU ARE WARNED

The owner didn’t have his online bookings co ordinated with other online listings he has (very easy task to do) This meant his carefree attitude and over booking meant we where in the street at 8.39pm very cold and tired. No a professional service at all.
