Hotel Gazei

Breakfast was more than enough with simple & well prepared options. The owner of the hotel was so cute and helpful. He arranged everything we wanted! He was always smiley and open to help for anything. The rooms were clean and big enough to make all the preparations for snowboarding. Definitely would want to go again!

Kindness and hospitality! They have great home made food . Delicious! It is family hotel settled in quiet but good location. Everything is in walking distance.

Very friendly owner who speaks some English. The rest of the family are very friendly too but do not speak English. The place is clean, the room we were given was at the corner, second floor very spacious, very long balcony with great views of the mountains and the city. The famed breakfast turned up to be pretty standard, no fried trout or anything like that. It was February though, the busiest period of the year. According to Ivan, the owner, the best period for skiing is march, because there are fewer people and it snows very hard starting the second week. The ski depot is good enough, and warm. Around 10 minutes from the gondola and 15 from the main square. The surroundings are cute, the main high street close.

Breakfast is theoretically from 7am, but more realistically from 7.20, which can't be a bit late. After all it is Bansko, so queuing is the real sport, if you want to get skiing Sound insulation is a bit lacking, so you might hear your neighbours and the singing from the nearby restaurant. The smell from fires and incinerator can be too strong and linger at night, but that's more a bansko problem, than something specific to the hotel
