Hotel Podkovata

It is a lovely place with wonderful surroundings and an amazing breakfast.

It is a bit rundown.

The hotel is situated in a nice location, we even got the chance to do a short hike to see a beautiful waterfall. The staff was very polite and helpful, the breakfast was more than enough and tasty and it really helped that the hotel has a restaurant. There are horses at the property, which is a bonus we did not expect and we got the chance to pet them. Our daughter enjoyed that she was able to ride a poney. The prices are really good for the services we recieved.

The rooms could use a "face lift", because the furniture and amenities seem really old. The shower is not really a shower, there is no shower cabin, there is only a shower system situated near the WC which is not really elegant or functional. The pillows were too big and rigid, we couldn't really rest our heads on them.

Perfect place to stop for one night in our way to Greece. In fact is a place where you can relax for more days. So nice, quiet, delicious food and a very,very nice lady which welcome us, thank you! We will come back for sure!
