Wir begreifen jedoch nicht weshalb beim Frühstück Wegwerfgeschirr und -besteck verwendet werden. Uns hat ebenfalls beim Frühstück Käse und/ oder Wurst gefehlt.

"Decent hotel with beautiful decor but a bit worse than expected sleeps"

The hotel is beautiful. It has an above average breakfast, is in a beautiful area, the rooms themselves are polished and everyone was really friendly. There is a little gift shop with beautiful looking t-shirts. I wish we had more time to look at them as they were super pretty. If you are planning to travel to Nootka trail or any of the nearby hikes, this is a really convenient starting point

While the hotel itself is new and quite beautiful, none of our party of 4 had good sleeps. The beds felt nice when we first got into them but all of us independently felt like we were tossing and turning all night. Part of it was the beds. I think it may have also been all the nightlights throughout the room that ensured it never was that dark. It may have also been partly the air conditioner which was loud and kept turning on and off in both rooms. Whatever the case, we didn't sleep particularly well. Finally, and this is likely a one-off experience, but the hotel staff incorrectly entered our credit card's info multiple times. This led to it being declined and us having to use a different card. We ended up spending a fair bit of time getting in contact with the bank to try to figure out what was wrong with the card before realizing it had just been a user error and the card hadn't been compromised etc.
